Laphroaig
Whisky: Laphroaig 10 year old
Age: 10 years
Type: Single malt
Strength: 40%

Distillery: Laphroaig Distillery
Country: Scotland: Islay

Date: 17-10-2000
Nose: Quite musty and a strong smell of iodine, yet friendly and gentle. Reminded some of us of liquid hansaplast.
Flavour: A lot of iodine, a little wood. Sweet like dried peach in a tutti-frutti kind of way.
Body: Very syrupy and smooth. It behaves very calm and relaxed, but it's makes sure you know it's there. After the first sip, it lasts at the back of your mouth and the end of your gullet for a very, very long time (and there's nothing you can do about that).
Comments: An extremely powerful whisky. One glass can last all evening. You could still taste this whisky after eating a few olives.
