Nose: Smooth, sweet, red fruit, wood, some glue, buttery.
Flavour: Slightly stale, some red fruits, metal like, slightly stuffy, sweet, round, buttery and rancid finish.
Body: A little dry, calm but still a little dynamic, fat on the cheeks.
Comments: It's unlike expected from a Glenrothes, but pleasantly stale nontheless.

Date: 16-12-2006
Nose: Sour, acerbic, musty, wood.
Flavour: Citrus, wood, salty, a little spicy, slightly bitter.
Body: Oily, full, round, gentle, coherent, slightly dry, pleasant long smooth finish.
Comments: Exactly what you'd expect from a 35 year old whisky. Very distinguished but lacks a little personality due to the time it spend in the cask.
