Nose: Sherry, raisins, pines, dark tropical fruit, Christmas cake.
Flavour: Plums, some wood, sweet bitterness, ginger, mint, dried fruit, superb dynamic, chocolate, toffee, finish with a hint of coffee and 'After Eight' candy.
Body: Full oily, pleasantly chewy, a little rough dryness, viscous warm on the cheeks, superb lasting finish.
Comments: One of the few whiskies you can wake me up for, and I'm not just saying this.
