Nose:
Molasses, gentle, a hint of caramel, toffee, blackberries.
Flavour:
Apple, round spices, light sweet caramel, a hint of coal, chocolate, a hint of chili, sweet bitter finish.
Body:
Beautiful oily, slightly sticky, warm on the cheeks, pleasantly rough dryness.
Comments:
It's nice to have an accessible darker whisky next to the plethora of accessible light ones.
