Sweet, iodine, peat ceder wood, medicinal, Haagse Hopjes candy, powerful, meet marinade.
Flavour:
Peat, firm, tar, wood, smoke, sourish, red oranges, raisin, coffee sludge bitterness, potpourri.
Body:
Thick oily, chewy, dry.
Comments:
The sherry covers up the young elements of this whisky nicely resulting in a tasty yet slightly blunt whisky. We can work with that.
