Glen Talloch Pure Malt
Laphroaig 10 year old
Isle of Jura
Whisky:
Isle of Jura 10 year old
Age:
10 years
Type:
Single malt
Strength:
43%
Distillery:
Isle of Jura Distillery
Country:
Scotland: Islands
Date:
17-10-2000
Nose:
Musty, a bit sour, some seaweed/iodine.
Flavour:
Slightly salt, a bit `half-baked', no distinct taste.
Body:
Starts sharp at the tip of your tongue and slightly sharp at the top of your mouth. It doesn't last and hasn't got much character.
Comments:
This one hardly appeals to me. Although from an island, it has nothing in common with the islay malts.
