Nose: Medicinal, moor, wine infused blue cheese, slightly grilled fruit.
Flavour: Peaty, fermented apples, vanilla pudding, smoke, a hint of wood varnish.
Body: Smooth, calm dry, lightly creamy.
Comments: A tasty nicely peated whisky. I wish this one wasn't the exception to the rule in my experience with Ardbeg the last couple of years.
