Nose: Sweet, slightly stale, pencil shavings, wood, apricot
Flavour: Old wood, faint, sweet, a little sour, round.
Body: Stimulating, slightly oily, slightly dry, velvet like. Nothing but a beautiful finish.
Comments: Clearly very old, and aged more than well. Seems more like a great cognac than like a great whisky, but who's complaining.
