Nose: Spices, slightly stale, some sherry, peaty, sweet, woody red fruits, moss.
Flavour: Peaty, pepper, honey, sweet, spices, some citrus, sherry.
Body: Oily, round, stimulating, calm finish.
Comments: Not bad, as far as goes for a Port Ellen.
Rating: ++++ ++++ ++++ ++++ ++++ ++++ ++++ ++++ ++-- ---- (8.5)
