Nose:
Sherry, vanilla, wood, pencil shavings, some glue, a hint of fruitcake.
Flavour:
Pleasantly sweet, full round sherry, spicy, some citrus, butterscotch, pleasant grain, liquorice, red wine balls (candy), dynamic, superb full lasting finish.
Body:
Beautiful round, thick oily, pleasantly dry, slightly stimulating.
Comments:
For me, this batch is the confirmation it's still the mother of cask strength whiskies.
