Nose: Varnish, wood, spices, dried currant, sweet, ,a hint of sherry, sourish.
Flavour: Wood, dried peel of oranges, some liquorice, some dried currants, spices, red fruit, a hint of sherry, lasting finish.
Body: Powerful, thick oily.
Comments: Turned out to me a little more plain than I expected. Still quite a good dram though.
